Happy Birthday Disciples of Gaming

On Thursday, December 1, 2011, Disciples of Gaming will officially celebrate its 5th birthday. It's with many great memories under our belt that we wish every member of Disciples of Gaming a happy birthday and well wishes in the coming year towards making this the ultimate gaming community.

It was back in 2006 that Disciples of Gaming ushered into the Xbox gaming scene with a launch of several branches in Halo 2. Those days seem like another lifetime entirely. The face of gaming has changed significantly, even in the last year alone. We continue to expand and grow with each new game release and look forward to the future.

Game designers are now focusing on improving the way we learn, work, solve problems, and lead our real lives through playing video games.

Jane McGonigal, a game designer with the Institute for the Future, says we can, and explains how.  Watch the video here.

Given that four DLC releases over the course of a year would normally cost $60, this is immediately a good deal for any frequent DLC buyers.
